Let's talk
"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." — Viktor Frankl
I introduce myself with this phrase because it accompanied me during one of the most important moments of my life: when I decided to make a change and pursue the path of becoming a massage therapist. It wasn’t an impulsive decision, but a need that grew within me, like a seed longing to reach the light. I felt the need to connect with something more authentic, more human, and to bring real wellness to people through something as simple and profound as touch and care.

I'm not going to lie, it wasn't easy. Starting over always requires effort, dedication, and more than a few doubts along the way, although it also brings incredible discoveries. As I trained at the Natura Massage School, I wasn't just learning techniques, anatomy, or protocols… I was also rediscovering myself. Every class, every practice, every small step forward was a source of motivation. I realized I wasn't just learning a profession, but that I was finding something that truly fulfilled me.
And can you believe it? I hadn't even finished my training before I already had a whole professional project in mind: EVAM Sportmassage was born! Thanks to the support of my family and the help of my friends, I started my own business within the Unisana group in Cologne (Germany), where I was able to create my own private space and serve my clients. It was already a reality, but there was still more to come...
Not even the algorithm could have predicted it better! Soon, I was in the Cologne public library, and among one of the anatomy books I was looking at, I found a brochure that caught my eye. Wellnow had come to me to offer a new take on the world of massage. No sooner had I said than done, and within two weeks I was working with them and roaming the city streets with my massage table on my shoulder: I was learning and practicing a lot, since managing both projects was demanding, but I still didn't know what it meant to play with the grown-ups.
To get to heaven, you didn't have to die, although you did have to go through a lot of nerves during the two interviews and the skills test. Within this vast project called Mediterana, it's easy to feel overwhelmed: the exhaustive customer service, the international environment, working in several languages, not getting lost in the dozens of rooms... but it's also a wonderful place to continue learning and, why not, take a break to observe what you can achieve with faith in yourself. When someone wants something, they eventually get it, I was once told.
Despite everything, there was something else that didn't quite fit into this wonderful puzzle. After many years in a country where I will treasure difficult and unforgettable moments, I felt the marsh, the rockrose, and the light begin to pull me closer; I felt a change of pace approaching, and I was ready for whatever was to come. That's right, after more than 10 years away, everything began to make sense, and Atlántica Wellness was born: a project created with great care and poised to become a true hallmark of Huelva.
